Terms of service
Draft of 2026-10-22, prepared for review. Not in effect.
1. Who we are
UpVoiced is operated by [legal entity name, registered address and company number — to confirm] (“UpVoiced”, “we”). These terms apply when you create or use an UpVoiced workspace.
2. Your account and workspace
You must give accurate account information and keep your sign-in secure. The person who creates a workspace is its owner and is responsible for the people they invite. You are responsible for the content you and your team publish and for having the right to collect feedback from your own users.
3. Your users’ data
For the people who post, vote or comment on your boards (your “end users”), you are the controller and UpVoiced processes their data on your behalf, as described in thedata processing agreement, which forms part of these terms. If you send us end-user attributes through single sign-on, you decide what you send and must have a lawful basis for it.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use UpVoiced to send spam, to collect data you are not allowed to collect, to host unlawful content, to attack or probe our systems without permission (seesecurity for responsible disclosure), or to get around plan limits. We may suspend a workspace that puts other customers or our email reputation at risk, and we will tell you why.
5. Plans, prices and payment
The Free plan costs nothing and does not require a payment method. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. Plan limits are listed on the pricing page and are enforced by the product.
Paddle as reseller. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. When you buy a paid plan or credits, you buy from Paddle, under Paddle’s buyer terms, and Paddle charges any sales tax or VAT and issues your invoice.
Refunds. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of your first purchase. Refunds are issued through Paddle. [Founder to confirm wording and any further refund rules.]
Changes of plan. Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Nothing is deleted when you downgrade.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep UpVoiced available but do not promise uninterrupted service. [Service level commitments, if any, to be decided.] We may change or remove features; we will give reasonable notice before removing a feature you pay for.
7. Ending the agreement
You can delete your workspace at any time from its settings. Deleted workspaces are kept for 30 days so that a mistake can be undone, then permanently removed. We may end these terms if you seriously breach them, after notice where the law requires it.
8. Liability
[Limitation of liability, warranty disclaimers and indemnities — to be drafted by counsel.]
9. Law and disputes
[Governing law and competent courts — to confirm.]
10. Changes to these terms
We will tell workspace owners by email before material changes take effect. [Notice period to confirm.]
11. Contact
[Contact email address — to confirm.]
