Feature · feedback board

A feedback board that tells people when their idea ships

Give your users one place to post ideas and problems, vote on what matters to them and follow it from “Open” to “Shipped”. Your team sorts it all from one inbox, and the people who asked hear about every change.

UpVoiced is in development and not open for sign-ups yet.

What your users can do

  • Post and vote in your brand

The board runs on your own subdomain with your logo and colours. People post ideas and bug reports, vote, comment and follow the posts they care about.

  • See similar posts while typing

As someone writes a title, posts that look alike appear underneath, so they can vote on an existing idea instead of starting a duplicate.

  • Use it inside your app

The widget brings the board, the roadmap and your latest updates into your product. People sign in with a one-time email code, or withsingle sign-on from the account they already have.

What your team does with it

  • Triage from one inbox

Every post across your boards lands in a keyboard-first inbox with search, filters and bulk actions, so you can answer new posts in one regular pass.

  • Statuses people understand

Each workspace starts with the statuses Open, Under review, Planned, In progress, Shipped and Closed. Tags group posts by theme or customer segment.

  • Merge duplicates without losing votes

When two posts describe the same thing, merge them: the votes move to the post you keep, so its count reflects everyone who asked.

Close the loop

A board is only worth posting on if something happens next. In UpVoiced, every status change emails the people who voted, commented or followed the post, and a changelog entry links the posts it ships so their voters hear about it too. Your public roadmap shows what is planned and in progress in between.

Questions about the feedback board

What is a feedback board?

A public page where your users post ideas and problems, vote on the ones that matter to them and follow what happens next. It replaces scattered emails and spreadsheets with one list that you and your users can both see.

Can people post from inside my app?

Yes. The UpVoiced widget adds the board, the roadmap and your latest updates to your app with one script tag, and single sign-on can sign your users in with the account they already have.

What happens to duplicate ideas?

Similar posts appear while someone types, so many duplicates are never created. When two posts still describe the same thing, merging moves the votes to the post you keep.

How do voters find out that their idea shipped?

Every status change emails the people who voted, commented or followed the post, and a changelog entry can link the posts it ships so their voters hear about it.
